Carbon reduction labels are a way of measuring the impact on the climate of making (or buying) a product, and also displaying a very clear commitment to carbon reduction.

The premise is simple. Calculate and reduce the CO2e emissions associated with the manufacture and use of a particular product. Label the product announcing that it’s use reduces the users contribution to climate change. Then allow it to compete in the market place against non-climate friendly products
